Funny fact is that when I was starting as a wedding photographer I was dreaming to have a wedding on location like this. 12 years later here I am, capturing the dream wedding in Ireland. I am very thankful for the opportunity that Vicky and Dave gave me to capture their big day. The location was stunning. Just stunning. Also the area around Kinsale is calm and picturesque, every wedding photographer’s dream. Vicky and Dave are both from Ireland. When I first met them, I knew that this will be a great story. Simple and calm as they are, they started with wedding preparations in their homes. For their wedding venue they choose Ballinacurra house Ireland, a luxury country mansion dating back to the 18th Century.
As a wedding photographer, venue like this is always a challenge. 40 acres of woodland and lawns are a real joy. Weather was, well I would say so Irish:) Sun parts with clouds and some rain in the evening. We decided to do a photo session around Vicky house. A beautiful old village house surrounded by fields and forest was just perfect. And it was so calm and natural like they do it every day. As a wedding photographer it is always a new experience when somebody let me have a private look into their lives. Somehow I witness their love and write small part of their history. Creating memories of weddings is not always easy, but I try to keep it simple. Photos and memories are only things that you will have after many years.
