Every time I go there I reveal new magical parts of that island. This time I met two wonderful people who came here from different parts of the world. Ewelina came a couple of years ago from Poland, in search of a better life. She found her place under the Lanzarote sun. Omay, who was born in Cuba also came to Lanzarote. After spending years in Spain and working on all the Canary Islands he came to Lanzarote. Only to see if there are any job opportunities here. Of course, he didn’t expect to meet the love here, but the best things in life happen unexpectedly.
Thanks to Cesar Manrique, the great artist, painter and sculptor, Lanzarote is a beautiful artistic place. Just waiting for you to discover it. Born in Arrecife, Lanzarote in 1919, his designs grace his native island. Hope these photos will bring at least a part of the beauty of this magical island and love of these two extraordinary people.
