Fort George – Croatia wedding photographer
Fort George is unique place to get married in Croatia.
Island Vis’ uniqueness lies in its 500 years of isolation as a military Island where time had stopped. Every time when I visit Island Vis stress level drops below zero. It is funny how time has stopped on Vis. Anna and Kyle choose Fort George for their wedding venue because they wanted something special. If you visit Island Vis you have a lot to explore. Wine roads with small family restaurants are always good choice. Besides port of Vis, Komiža is also very interesting small place. There are many great beaches on Island Vis and the sea is turquoise clear.
As a Croatia wedding photographer I had opportunity to shoot weddings on many beautiful islands. Now, after many years I can tell that Vis is one of my favourite. Untouched nature and spectacular views are dream of every photographer. As a storyteller exploring the island was a great pleasure and mission. Anna and Kyle wedding was at the end of the season, but Fort George is spectacular in September. There are less tourists than in mid of summer, it is not so hot and beaches are not crowded.
Wedding ceremony and dinner was at Fort George. Stunning scenario in old fort was romantic and full of emotions. After ceremony there was party in the garden of Fort George. View from Fort George is outstanding, and when the sky is clear you can see Italy. It was very romantic 30 people wedding, with their dearest friends and family. Food at Fort George is something that you need to try. Every time when I visit this venue there is something new to explore.
